Senior Consultant
Nancy Simpson-Banker has worked in the non-profit sector for twenty-two
years. She has extensive major gifts, capital campaign, annual fund,
and special events experience and is a talented public speaking
coach. She has worked in healthcare development for fourteen years
in New England and eight years in higher education in Indiana and
Pennsylvania.
Most recently she served as Vice President for Philanthropy at
Faulkner Hospital in Boston. During her tenure at Faulkner Hospital
annual fundraising doubled and the Hospital received its first million
gift in its 100-year history. Faulkner is a member of Partners Healthcare
System, New England's largest healthcare system. Prior to her appointment
at Faulkner, Nancy was Vice President for Development at the Winchester
Hospital Foundation and Director of Development/Capital Campaign
Director at Mount Auburn Hospital. Before entering healthcare, she
worked in development and public relations at Saint Francis College
and Indiana University.
Ms. Simpson-Banker served on the board of the New England Association for Healthcare Philanthropy for 17 years and served the organization as President and Regional Conference Chair. Additionally, Nancy served on the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy Board of Trustees for three years. Nancy is an active fundraising volunteer for numerous local organizations including the First Parish Church in Needham, MA. She holds a bachelors degree from Boston College and a masters degree from Indiana University. |
