Senior Associate
Audrey Y. DeLoffi brings more than 30 years of philanthropic and leadership counsel to non-profit and municipal clients throughout New England.
Developing individualized and creative strategies with each client, Audrey has successfully facilitated and managed capital and debt reduction campaigns, major gifts initiatives and annual appeals. She has conducted and facilitated feasibility/planning studies and development audits and supported campaign leadership through all phases of campaigns, including the development of campaign materials, one-to-one donor solicitation and stewardship. Additional services provided include coaching organizational executives and volunteers, strategic planning and board training and development. Audrey is effective in foundation research and has written numerous grants for client capital and program initiatives.
Audrey's philanthropic work includes clients from the fields of healthcare, education, human services and public sector (libraries).
Prior to providing philanthropic counsel, Audrey held leadership positions in healthcare and human service organizations. As the Director of the state medical society's credentials verification service, she was responsible for program start-up, management, staff training and marketing. In the field of mental health, Audrey served as the CEO of a state hospital with 400 beds and 800 employees. With a master's degree in social work (MSW) from Boston College and a BA cum laude from University of New Hampshire, she has also served in other management, training and clinical positions.
Audrey's accomplishments in the development profession include appointment to the MA Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) where she served as Chair of the Sponsorship Committee. She has presented and facilitated several conference roundtable discussions and workshops for MA and RI AFP and the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. Publications include a 2006 article on "Strategic Planning: Is Your Organization Ready" (Dimensions, a publication of the National Catholic Development Conference); "What Boards Need to Know About Sarbanes-Oxley" and "A Program to Help Staff Cope with Psychological Sequelae of Assaults by Patients," (Hospital & Community Psychiatry, September 1991).
As an active community volunteer in Massachusetts and Maine, Audrey serves as the Chair of the By-Laws Committee for the Ocean Park Association (a Chautauqua community in Maine), and is a member of the Essex County Development Group's Steering Committee. She has also served on the boards and committees of the MA Chapter Board of AFP, the Ocean Park Association, Tabernacle Congregational Church and Boston College School of Social Work. |
